Annie is a yoga teacher, personal trainer and founder of health and lifestyle blog Mind Body Bowl. Having come to yoga as a way to stretch out after a gym workout, she found there was a lot more to it than that and quickly fell in love. Annie completed her training in Ashtanga and Vinyasa and now teaches Vinyasa Flow classes in various spots around London. Her classes start with an energising fast flow to get the body moving but leave you feeling totally chilled and ready to take on the rest of your day!
If I wasn’t a yoga teacher I’d be…searching for anything to keep me out of an office! I think I get bored too easily to be successful in that sort of environment.
My training style is balanced; I love to work out but leave feeling chilled – so I try to bring that style to most of my classes.
You wouldn’t know that I used to find any excuse not to take part in cross country at school – I don’t know what happened but one day I just decided I actually really loved it. It was just after I grew about a foot so perhaps the longer legs helped.
