Abby started doing yoga in the womb (literally – her mum, Sally, is also a yoga teacher!), but she fully embraced it as a way of life when she moved to London to work in advertising. Very quickly, yoga became more than a physical practice. It grew into being her still, safe place of calm amid the madness, and a constant source of positivity. Her approach to teaching is to help students find their own inner well of calm, through a joyful flow that balances sthira and sukha, strength and sweetness. Her classes nurture strong and confident alignment, and a healthy dose of modern philosophy. (Plus, she always has a selection of banging playlists. Drake Yoga Flow, anyone?) Abby completed her 200hr Vinyasa Yoga training with FRAME Academy, under the excellent tuition of Emily-Clare Hill and Michael James Wong.
If I wasn’t a yoga teacher I’d be… In an all-female rap group.
My training style is… Playful. You’ll leave with a smile on your face and a spring in your step!
My favourite place in London for a stiff drink… My local pub The Shakespeare.
My ideal breakfast is… If I’m being good, avocado and poached egg on toast. If I’m being naughty, jam doughnuts and coffee 😉

After work I… Cycle home while singing Mariah Carey at the top of my lungs.
My favourite time of day is… Any kind of meal time!
If I were a colour, I’d be… The colour of those rare candy-pink and pastel-blue sunsets you get before the rain comes.
My favourite on the go snack is… A nice, juicy red apple. Keeping it simple.
My biggest release is… Letting it all go on the dance floor!
You wouldn’t know that I… Interviewed Busta Rhymes for i-D magazine (and he asked me to make him a grime playlist).
