Looking for something a little more restrained? Then maybe yoga is more your thing. Although be warned…. Some of the Yoga classes at Frame can be pretty dynamic and intense… Bikram eat your heart out!
YOGA CLASSES
Yoga makes you feel better. Yoga lets you tune in, chill out and shape up all at the same time. Yoga can also be very beneficial in helping you manage or control a wide range of ailments such as; anxiety, asthma, back pain, blood pressure, carpal tunnel syndrome, fatigue, depression, headaches, heart disease, stress and the seriously debilitating my-jeans-don’t-fit-anymore virus.
At Frame, yoga classes are grouped into STRONG, CALM and BASICS. We advice if you’re new to yoga you stick to the BASICS and CALM classes to start with, but it’s not about ability, the groupings are more about what you want to get out of your class and what mood you’re in.
BASICS – These classes take it back to the beginning, concentrating on the foundations of yoga; both in terms of finding the correct alignment in postures, and building an awareness of moving with the breath.
CALM – These classes release tension in the body and mind simultaneously through a gentle flow that settles your attention softly on the breath. Perfect for those who want to achieve an inner calm or to stretch out tired and achy bodies.
STRONG - These classes build strength, balance, focus, and body awareness through the use of a dynamic flow, synchronising movement with breath to get through the challenge of each posture. This style of class is more physically demanding and is great for toning the body, working up a sweat as you go.
